Microtunneling (Group VM and VD)

The Microtunneling method completed the methods of Pilot Boring and Open Shield pipe jacking. Meanwhile the company owns Microtunneling machines of the AVN type of company Herrenknecht for the nominal diameters of ID 250 up to ID 3000.

Especially the underground of Berlin with its high groundwater level and its running sandy soils justified and still justifies the use of that high technology in the unmanned pipe jacking method. Tunnels of lengths up to 1,100 m and s-shaped curves as well as undercuts of railway tracks of Deutsche Bahn AG and Berlin Transportation (BVG) have been performed successfully to the fullest satisfaction of the clients.
